Each year Wits is required to do over 16000 manual fee and housing quotations, this was an expensive and time consuming process. Students had to wait for 5 days to get a quotation which in some circumstance were incorrect due to manual/human intervention. Now with the online system via the student self service portal a student can get a quotation hassle free without standing in long queues at the fees office and do all this in the comfort of the homes
The Higher Education User Group (HEUG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping member institutions effectively manage administrative technologies to improve the student and user experience.
