The University of South Australia went live on Campus Solutions 9.2 in July 2017 after a five month upgrade process. The project involved moving from CS9.0 Bundle 36, PT8.54.10 to CS9.2 Update Image 4, PT8.55.15.As part of the upgrade we also did a complete refresh of our infrastructure (apart from our database servers), implementing new web, application, process scheduler and file servers, and also moved the majority of this architecture from physical to virtual servers. We also implemented Elasticsearch, so added servers for this into our infrastructure.This presentation will talk about the detailed project timelines, the steps we took, the issues we faced, and the lessons learned.
