‘Course Data that sits unused – is no different from Course Data that was never collected in the first place’

Queen’s University uses Campus Solutions as the Core Product for the storage of all course and student information. The over-arching vision of the University’s core objectives is to provide a single source for the input and storage of master data and content. To facilitate with this vision a development project was undertaken to focus on the core data elements for all courses and the reusability of this data, allowing it to be made available through XML output for publishing via multiple sources. Through PeopleSoft customisations the project ties together core the following core Business Processes – Course Module Data (Course Catalog), Programme Specifications, and Course-Finder Data.
