Maximise the value of your conversations : how Voyc artificial intelligence visualises and organise

05-23-2018 11:21 AM

Voyc.ai is a web-based solution that processes and synthesizes natural language conversations; allowing organisations and professionals to search and index conversations and identify latent themes. Voyc was founded by two UCT engineering graduates to bring together cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques and software to help users gain greater insight from the totality of their store of information.

They were frustrated that the process of transcribing hours of conversation in order to synthesise the key insights was time-consuming and filled with bias. Therefore, they developed Voyc to assist individuals in design, market research and innovation to speed up their workflows. Voyc was developed using state of the art algorithms in speech-to-text transcription and natural language processing.

At present, Voyc is being used by various corporates in the legal, insurance and finance industries and running an early pilot in a post graduate research field. Through sharing of various case studies, the two founders of Voyc (Matthew and Lethabo) will detail the potential benefits that Voyc brings to the academic community.
