The Office of Financial Aid at FSU has an increasing demand from campus stakeholders as well as external agencies to assess the impact of financial aid across many metrics. As with most institutions, we see an increasing demand from campus stakeholders as well as external agencies for multi dimensional financial aid data to assess the impact of financial aid on enrollment, retention, graduation, student loan debt and affordability among other measures. The information provided in the students ISIR - Income, Expected family contribution, dependency status, need and Pell eligibility often is the starting point for many of these metrics- the Office of Financial Aid worked closely with the OBIEE team to build several dashboards across business domains. In this session we will take a look at the approach taken by the BI and functional team to develop these reports and learn some of the best practices adopted.
