Griffith has utilised Dashboards and work centers for administration staff supporting this business process and work flow for academics that are required in the approvals processes. The project undertook a huge data conversion process from existing components. They delivered a wide range of self-service functions for Researchers, Supervisors and examiners. It went from one day everything was done by snail mail then the next everything was electronic and could be tracked at every point. In this presentation we will step you through some scenarios of a research students life cycle which will demonstrate the functionality within this module. There was a large change management process that was undertaken for all staff/students that would have interactions with this new systems. Support after go live has been a challenge which is due to the amount of change implemented at once. This has been acknowledged and further releases are planned to release further functionality like a scholarship ranking component and also to improve what was delivered.
