The Building Blocks of Successful Change Management

04-30-2019 04:34 AM

The California State University (CSU), Office of the Chancellor, has been uniquely creating a Change Management Community of Practice among the system's twenty-three Universities. From no formal Change Management experience to successful campus IT implementations, the Change Management team has provided training, templates and created a growing network of change management professionals.

The CSU employs Prosci certified Change Managers, following the ADKAR model. Our team focuses on the people side of change, including the Who, Why, What, When, Where and How. During this breakout session, we will walk through how the CSU got started building a network of Change Managers, the core fundamentals of Change Management, and the templates you and your team members can begin using to build Change Management best practices at your University. We will deep dive the importance of Communication, review the CSU's current Communication goals, objectives and plan. We will then work together to build a sample Communication Plan. Join us for a fun and interactive session designed to teach, engage, and reinforce the importance of Change Management for any size implementation at your University. Attendees will also receive copies of the templates.
