As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen our PeopleSoft support and delivery practices, we are reaching out to universities to better understand the tools and approaches being used across the sector. We would greatly appreciate your insights on:
- Test automation tools you have adopted for PeopleSoft applications.
- Environment management tools used to track and coordinate upgrades, patching and refresh of PeopleSoft environments.
- Processes or tools for environment booking, particularly how integrated application teams schedule and manage access to shared integrated test environments.
- How you track the versions of different applications within your integrated environments, and how you ensure that testing is always conducted against the correct versions.
- Techniques and practices for data management (e.g. obfuscation) in your non-production environments.
- Best practices you follow in implementing and sustaining these solutions.
Your input will help us benchmark practices, identify common challenges, and explore opportunities for improvement across the sector.
