    Hi All

As a follow up to a conversation we were having about changes to Query Manager in PeopleTools 8.63 (over on the PS Query & SQL list), I wanted to post some additional information about the 8.63 update that is headed our way.

Although 8.63 has been released, it is currently only available to Oracle Cloud customers.  Typically, Oracle will wait ~ 3 months before the Tools update is released to On-Prem customers, which places availability at approximately Nov 1 for this set of customers.  If there is a Tools upgrade in your future, that is the date to keep in mind.

There are a lot of upgrades in the 8.63 toolset.  There are some exciting updates to Query Manger, a lot of changes with how OpenSearch is used, revisions to the Fluid interface, some interesting changes to portal technologies, a cool enhancement to Process Scheduler, as well as some long-awaited improvements to PS Security.  There are some big changes to unpack in this update.

I have attached the PeopleTools Cumulative Feature Report spreadsheet that I ran yesterday (Friday, July 31).  It shows changes for both 8.62 as well as the more current 8.63, and provides extra detail about what is coming.  In addition, below are some links that I have found helpful as I have been starting to plan around this release.

At UNLV, we are planning a PeopleTools update soon-ish.  Given that 8.63 has now been released, it appears this is going to be our next jump.  Where is everyone else on this timeline?  And what change(s) are you most excited about?
