NEWHEUG 2016 - Call for Proposals Ends in 3 Days!

By Pam Henderson posted 05-18-2016 05:18 AM

Critical to the success of this conference will be, as always, the sessions presented by our colleagues who can showcase the work they have done, their experiences (both positive and maybe not so positive), new tools, new ideas and new approaches to their ERPs. This conference covers all aspects of PeopleSoft ERP, including Human Resources, Financials and Campus Solutions as well as Technical and General Interest/Reporting sessions and deep-dive workshops. In addition, third party tools that are in use to expand and supplement PeopleSoft are a major component of our conference.

We all have something to learn and something to teach each other. Here is your chance to help others by presenting on a topic that you do well, some lessons learned or share your thoughts on where the future is taking your ERP.

Session proposal guidelines/suggestions:

  • Sessions can be done by an individual presenter or a team.
  • They can be from institutional staff alone or done in conjunction with a vendor who has made an impact on your project.
  • Sessions are 50 minutes or Workshops are 120 minutes long and you should plan to allow some time for questions and answers.
  • Vendors are welcome to propose sessions but their proposals must not be sales oriented and must present with an institution which uses their services.
  • We usually have more proposals than session slots. We will be determining which proposals have wide interest and appeal as the submissions are evaluated.
  • If presenting at a conference is new to you, this is a great opportunity to present in a smaller, more intimate environment than at the large Alliance conference. If you are an old hand at presentations, you know how rewarding it can be, so come do it again!

Click here for the session proposal form link - submit your proposal no later than May 20, 2016. All we need now are your topics and a brief summary. A copy of the full presentation will be requested after your session is confirmed.
