September is a busy time of year for those of us involved in Higher Education. Hopefully your semester is off to a good start. The HEUG is gearing up for an exciting couple of months!
Alliance 2018 Call for Proposals just opened and will remain open until October 13th. The Board, Conference Planning Team, and Advisory Groups would like your feedback on what information you would like to see presented at the conference. We urge you to reach out Advisory Groups that represent your area of interest and let them know session topics that you would like to attend.
Has your department or institution recently gone through an implementation or made a significant change that has impacted your organization? Consider submitting a session proposal for Alliance 2018! More than likely, another organization would benefit from your expertise!
Advisory Group elections are right around the corner. If you would like to be considered for a group, now is the time to throw your name into the ring to be nominated. Submit your nomination to the Advisory Group of your choice now to show your interest.
Finally, if you are unable to attend Alliance, perhaps participating at a regional conference would be a better fit. Over the next few months there are a number of US Regional and International conferences taking place. Check HEUG online for submission and registration deadlines and get involved with a conference near you.
