It is that time of the year again when we renew our membership to the HEUG and start to reap the many benefits it offers. In case you are not familiar with the levels of membership that the HEUG offers, they are, the Institutional Members, Institutional Subscribers, System Members, and System Subscribers. The benefits for the Institutional Members and the System Members are the same.

The HEUG Online is available to everyone; however, the Institutional Members (including System Members) can enjoy additional benefits as listed below:

Institutional Membership enables you to attend the Alliance conference at a reduced rate; for example, HEUG members saved a combined total of over $600,000 on Alliance conference fees last year. But wait there’s more:

  • Enables you to attend unlimited HEUGEducation Series webinars for free. (Each webinar cost $59 to attend perperson).
  • Enables you to be eligible to serveon the HEUG Board thereby gaining additional exposure with Oracle for your institution.
  • Enables you to be eligible to serve on the HEUG Product Advisory Groups and Technical Advisory Groups thereby gaining additional exposure with Oracle for your institution.
  • Enables you to access Alliance session recordings, even if you did not attend the conference, thereby enhancing your conference educational benefits long after the conference is over.
  • Access to HEUG.Online for all Institutional Member employees.

All current users of the HEUG.Online who are not HEUG Members are considered Institutional Subscribers. Institutional Subscribers continue to have access to much of what HEUG.Online offers. However, the specific benefits defined above for HEUG Members do not apply to Institutional Subscribers. There is no cost to remain an Institutional Subscriber with the HEUG.

If you have additional questions about the Membership Program, please go to http://www.heug.org/p/cm/ld/fid=195 . Your group profile will tell you what your current membership level is; notices were sent to both your primary and membership contacts. If you have questions about membership processing please contact the HEUG Director of Member Services, Margaret Howe at membership@heug.org.
