Subscribing to Product Area Forums

It may (or may not) come to a surprise to many of you, but the HEUG monitors member activity as a means of determining how frequently (or not) particular services are used by the membership.  This is part of our on-going assessment and continuous improvement program (yes,  W. Edwards Deming lives on here at the HEUG). One of the many ways you can get involved and receive the most relevant information about the products you use every day is by subscribing to a product area forum.

We have recently analyzed member subscriptions to the Product Area Community forums and found a significant number of you are not currently subscribed to any of these forums. Forums are one of the best ways on HEUG.Online to keep up to date on conversations other people are having about Oracle products. Many times these forum discussions solve every-day issues and are a great way for you to connect with users around the world who use the same products and may be having the same experiences as yourself.   I write at this time to encourage you to review the list of Product Area Communities (available at http://www.heug.org/p/co/in/faid=1); within these communities you will find not only the list of available forums for each product but also files and blogs. Review the content areas in these communities, you don’t have to be subscribed to review the information available on the forums but when you are ready to participate simply click the “Subscribe” button on the right side of the page and you’ll be ready join the conversation.
