Conference Registration is Now Open!
It’s time to register for the first annual South Central HEUG Regional User Group Conference on Wednesday July 25, 2012 in Arlington, Texas. This is sponsored by HEUG and the University of Texas- Arlington and will be a great gathering for PeopleSoft professionals in Higher Ed in our region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi). The cost for the conference is an amazingly low $35.00 (which includes continental breakfast and lunch).
During this one-day event, there will be sessions with topics covering Human Resources, Campus Solutions (student), Financials, Reporting, and Technology. Many of the sessions are user oriented, discussing ways in which PeopleSoft can be used within the functional areas of your institution. Others are technical in nature and provide the latest information and techniques on hardware, software and technology management.
In addition to the sessions, each of the tracks mentioned above will have an individual “Birds of a Feather” session that will allow you time to meet with many of your colleagues who have an interest in your same area of work. These “Birds of a Feather” sessions are quite popular and add to the networking opportunities during the day.
Vendor support has been strong, and we anticipate a significant number of companies will be represented. There will be an exhibitor area to give you a chance to meet with providers throughout the day as well as an opportunity to attend sessions led by some of those exhibitors. Oracle will be sending a sizeable contingent of its staff to the event and will be providing up to date information on the newest trends within the company.
