The Companion Animal Health Centre within our School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences negotiated a local level area agreement to enable both the Veterinary Nurses and Vet Doctors to accommodate the centre being open 24x7.This project was rolled out in 2 phases:Phase 1 - July 2016- 10 & 6 week roster configuration established in work schedules using shift rotations- configuration of job data to enable shift workers to be identified- configuration of job data and leave management to enable employees to apply and submit leave based on their work schedules- payment off work schedulesPhase 2 - November 2016- Online Timesheets using Time and Labour prepopulated from work schedule rotations- Timesheet Approvals and workflow- Online overtime requests within timesheets- Auto calculation of base pay, shift penalty, and overtime rates- Timesheet integration to payroll
