In PeopleSoft and specifically Campus Solutions the emphasis is shifted from custom development to address specific institutional requirements to an approach where configuration can be used to achieve this instead. Student Activity Guide functionality in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions allow users to configure guided processes for completion by orchestrating existing delivered as well as bolt-on components. This makes use of the delivered Activity Guide functionality in PeopleTools with some delivered Campus Solutions specific extensions to make this a perfect fit for universities in order to guide students through the process of completing institution specific steps in a process. All of this can be achieved through configuration instead of custom development. This session explains this functionality and also demonstrates how institutions can use and benefit from this.
