Liverpool John Moores University uses E-Business Suite 12.1.3 for its corporate Finance/HR/Payroll. To enable timely development and testing as well as fault finding and user training, the University runs automatic daily and weekly clones. The University also uses the same system of cloning to create instances on demand.This session will describe in detail the process of automatically cloning a complete, multi-tier, 500GB+ E-Business-suite onto a single-tier test/development platform in under three hours, using a combination of RMAN, Linux file copy and E-Business suite adclone methods.
