This publication builds on a series of Higher Education User Group (HEUG) publications that articulate how HEUG member institutions can prepare an ongoing enterprise resource planning system (ERP) implementation and maintenance strategy. The fifth paper in that series, entitled A Deliberate Approach for Leveraging Applications Unlimited sought to advise smaller or “resource challenged” institutions on how to maximize the benefit of their current investment in Oracle PeopleSoft applications and technology. That paper continues to be a key resource for strategic technology planning in the small institution.
