Implementation of NUS eTranscript Solution (My eQuals) requires PeopleSoft Campus Solutions System to send documents into My eQuals cloud service. The underlying technology involved is to implement an integration in PeopleSoft to upload documents into AWS Simple Storage Service which is hosted in Amazon Sydney data centre. The session will discuss three different approaches explored, i.e. 1)Direct call of AWS Java SDK from App/Process Server(s) to upload documents 2)Calling AWS REST API via PeopleSoft Integration Broker to upload documents 3)Creating and using a custom PeopleSoft target connector (AWSTARGET) to upload documents (most recommended) The session will cover challenges encountered and how to overcome them, pros and cons of each approach, and a demo if time permits.
