Through a PeopleSoft Payroll Validation tool, Florida State University was able to shift from a manual tax update validation process that relied on several HRS units and Internal Audit to run multiple SQL queries towards one of automation.

Part of this included an Oracle Validated Integration, PayMatch. This is a bolt-on PeopleSoft integration that enabled FSU to perform standardized tax update checks. FSU also utilizes the tool within its PUM testing validation process and has the ability for 100% reconciliation.

Robert Sorrell will demo how the PayMatch Payroll Validation tool works. Lorrie L. Harvey will discuss the strategy for how FSU incorporates PayMatch, presenting the HR department’s vision for future utilization, internal audit protocol, and production payroll validation and reasonability checks within university payroll.
