This session will explore two bolt-ons implemented by Queen's University Belfast that utilise Query Manager to provide easily changeable configuration. The first bolt-on is part of our Registration and Enrolment process and utilises queries to define populations to deal with ever-changing HESA requirements for Data Futures. This allows a single page to be provided to students, with only questions relevant to the student's characteristics being asked, ensuring GDPR compliance. The second bolt-on is a data export tool which allows queries to be utilised to define the population for the export to our virtual learning environment. This tool has also been utilised for other purposes since its creation, allowing easy data manipulation and fast solution realisation through tools that are already familiar.
