The delivered PeopleSoft user Interface (UI) in PeopleTools 8.49 is menu-driven and does not offer a great user experience. The main challenges with the delivered UI are:1) Colour scheme and layout are old-fashioned and does not match the portal's UI theme and branding.2) Not web-responsive to mobile devices.3) Inconsistent among various browsers and version.4) Forms were cumbersome and difficult to use. 5) Entry errors were unclear and presented one at a time.This presentation aims to highlight the possibility to transform the UI of the PeopleSoft applications, using SMU's admission application form as a showcase.
