This session will include the key structures of a WorkCenter and a simple overview of their setup so attendees can begin to consider how a WorkCenter could be useful in their own work. These key points will include project management, requirements gathering, configuration and technical development (menu items and security). The examples provided will be specific to Western but are applicable to any institution. This session is a continuation of Western’s “Using the Admissions Application Web Services Framework to Develop an Application Service”. Attendees are not required to attend the first section as WorkCenters can be applied to any component in Campus Solutions.
