There are many reason to send an alternate program recommendation; the initial program is full and the applicant is on a waiting list; the applicant is not qualified for the initial program; or the applicant did not realize he/she was qualified for another program. In the past alternate program choices were added directly to student applications manually. This skewed application reports and caused conversion anomalies. Seneca's new method sends an email to the applicant and informs them that there is a alternate program being recommended. This session will discuss the process and results of our initial trials.
