Universities and other public institutions are under constant pressure to reduce administrative costs and burdens, often through the use of self serve functionality. The University of Calgary implemented a self serve solution for the generation of employment verification letters, reducing the number of manually produced letters in one year from over 2,000 to 50.
This session will review the overall design of the solution, as well as discuss some of the challenges associated with rolling this out in a higher ed environment.
