Like most institutions with scheduling software, FSU set up a master ID in PeopleSoft to handle scheduling. The result was that the Automic DevOps team spent a significant amount of time setting up run control information. Further, the end users could not visually verify that they were set up correctly online. The end user relied on screen shots to verify. With the implementation of Automic, we looked at this to see if there was a better way. Approaching this issue from a new angle, FSU was able to institute a new approach that would have an enormous, positive impact on the whole organization.
