Managing Academic Progress with Campus Solutions and Oracle Service Cloud

The University of Adelaide introduced major changes to the Academic Progress by Student Coursework policy. The policy focus changed to encourage earlier intervention and student engagement. Key aspects of the policy are to:
1. Identify and communicate to students their level of risk.
2. Encourage students to self-reflect on their performance.
3. Provide tailored feedback to students based on their self-reflection as to where they can seek assistance.
4. Provide case management functionality to record all interactions with students engaged with the process.
5. Provide analytics as to engagement levels and major issues reported by students preventing their academic progress.
The solution developed to support the business process involved identification of risk levels in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and case management and delivery of communication to students occurring in the Oracle Service Cloud CRM.
This presentation will discuss and show:
• The risk identification and management process in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• The case management solution for Academic Progress design in the CRM
• Analytics and tracking AP student engagement.
• What we would do differently.
• Next steps to support earlier intervention with at risk students.
