This paper is about the strategies undertaken by the University of the Philippines to implement the Oracle EBS R12 Financials. It discusses the use and development of Flexfields, Functions, Customized Reports, Forms and OAF HTML Personalizations on AP Invoice Workbench, AR Receipts and iProc Requisitions to automate the university’s business processes. The University of the Philippines, aside from being a tertiary education institution, is also a government organization. With this, the university has to comply with the rules promulgated by other government agencies in the Philippines such as the Commission on Audit (COA), Department of Budget Management (DBM), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) among others. All reports from EBS have been made compliant with these rules and regulations.
