At Seneca, there will be many part-time Faculty contracts every term and many of them are eligible for benefits based on the total Class hours taken at Seneca.The contracts are created out of Peoplesoft system which is the source of employee/faculty data and the employee information like Health care number, name, address, start date , end date,Salary, dependent information all need to be shared with the Benefit Prodiver(Sunlife). This presentation will provide an overview of the end to end automation of the processes that Seneca did to keep Peoplesoft HCM system and Sunlife system in sync.This presentation will also outline the challenges and issues faced during this project along with the timelines.There were many positives from this project both from Benefit operation and end user(employee/faculty) perspective as well which will be detailed in this presentation.
