Join us in our journey as we deployed some Fluid developments to streamline the graduation process and making sure that all staff actually start working with Campus Solutions. Previously the graduation business process was driven by Excel sheets and examination committee members that refused to work with any administrative system. At Inholland we have changed that situation to a new business process with a crucial role for several out-of-the-box Campus Solutions functionalities.

From start to finish the actual workflow is driven by the out-of-the-box Evaluation Management System and combined with the Rules Engine, queries, role specific pagelets and some Fluid developments for usability, all staff members now work with Campus Solutions. This results in a Student Information System that supports the day-to-day activities, instead of some administrative burden to get governmental funding. And last but certainly not least, the students now have 24/7 overview of the graduation status, so there is no need for them to frequently contact many different staff members, they students now have a specific pagelet that shows the relevant status of their graduation.

Please keep in mind that this is a functional session, so no Application Designer or Fluid code details, we will focus on the alignment of Campus Solutions with an improved business process.
