This presentation will highlight a File Parser development project at Northwestern University to load and update Constituent and
Application Data in CS from the Slate vendor Product. Through the example of this project, we will discuss basic File parser setup to include Context definitions, Conversion Definitions, and file mapping definitions. We will also show how to use and create calculated values as well as how to code and create extensions to the Constituent and Application entities to load data from custom staging records into both custom and delivered production records.
