In the grand scheme of Australian universities, Federation University Australia is on the smaller end of the scale. Despite that, we have developed a strong record of delivering system enhancements and new functionality within relatively short time frames, with small teams and with budgets which are substantially lower than the market average. This presentation provides an overview of what has been achieved by FedUni over the past 12 months, ranging from business as usual system fixes and enhancements (over 150 items) to larger scale projects, including a bundles upgrade (bundles 31 -34) and a PeopleTools upgrade (to 8.55). The implementation of these items will be discussed in the context of resourcing (staffing and budget) but also from an operational perspective, including the processes and structures we have put in place to ensure that required work is released into the system in time frames that work for the business.
