In 2016, NAIT embarked on a project to improve the scholarship and bursary processes using PeopleSoft. The first phase tackled disbursement and cheque production which were completely manual. Using PeopleSoft, this process has been fully automated from the point where award recipient is selected to the printing of the cheque. Students are required to validate their address and social insurance number, so the design included an Activity Guide to collect required information. This session will walk through the processes that were automated including Authorize & Disburse, Comm Gen, Activity Guides, and Refunds.
