Many institutions have oracle level objects in their database, but lack a cohesive way to manage them. These include Triggers, Functions, Procedures, Granted privileges and more. These objects are generally handed over to the DBA team without a way to manage them. The PL/SQL framework delivers PeopleSoft components and pages which can be given to the authoritative user to manage. For example, privileges (select, update, delete) can be given to the security team to manage. The PL/SQL framework includes components to create and edit these oracle objects. But the real value comes from an Application Engine which actually manages them inside the database. The Application Engine runs at regular intervals and confirms all these objects are in place and working as expected. If they are not, it attempts to fix the issue and ends in a warning, which allows notification of an end user(s).
