Implementing waitlists was a big deal for MacEwan University students in Fall 2018. It became clear early in the project that a communication and change management plan would be required for it to be successful with such a large number of stakeholders. I was assigned the task of ensuring the changes were well communicated and well received. No pressure!Having one person to identify stakeholders, build communication and training plans and coach liaisons within the schools and faculties provided a holistic view of what was required throughout the project. Find out how change management was coordinated for staff and students. The hits, the misses and the lessons learned will be reviewed providing attendees with tools they can start applying right away.
