Issues for the Student Financials module include incompatibility, inefficiency, and design. Waivers and Third Party Contracts conflict with one another resulting to incorrect student balances. The selection of charges to pay in the Post Student Payment module takes too much time in processing payments for UP's tens of thousands of students. Posting of loan vouchers and loan charges through the Post Student Transactions module are done separately which leads to user error. As for the integration with the E-Business Suite, complicated documentation is a definite headache. System generated IDs of the same field names on each system conflict with one another. Some fields which are used in one system, that are essential for the integration, are not present in the other. This talk will present the various cases encountered in using the Student Financials module of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and its integration with the E-Business Suite. It will also discuss the solutions implemented to resolve the issues. A demonstration of the various reports, processes, and customizations that were created will be included.
