You’ve set up the requirements, reports have been run. Now what? The AAR is great for individual students, but what about a bigger picture? The SAA_ADB_RESULTS table houses the results when the Academic Advisement Report is run. The data can be very useful in targeting students who have not yet met a particular requirement. This can be helpful for class scheduling purposes, to send reminders to students who are close to graduation, or report creation. If you know your requirements, you can get the data back out with just a little effort. This presentation will demonstrate the following: the importance of requirement set up, making sure the table is populated for target group, how to write a query using that table, and how to use the data in letters, pivot tables, showing an example of the letter Butler University sends to all Juniors regarding the CORE graduation requirements. This used to be a very manual process. Using SAA_ADB_RESULTS we now have one day turn around, rather than one week.
