Building a query for financial aid purposes requires a knowledge of how the data flows from the ISIR to the mailing the award letter. In this presentation, I will cover which tables are used to store the data, how to group it, track it, and create edit queries that help maintain the quality of the processes. This will include the different options of joining tables, using expression to change/create data elements for reporting or edits, and how to retrieve data that can be Excel Pivot friendly.
