This session - presented by Visions Consulting - provides an overview of the capabilities of this offering and the pros and cons of Cloud vs OnPremise BU - and then discusses a case study of the implementation of BICS at an SA customer. In 2014 Oracle recently unveiled its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business intelligence offering called Business Intelligence Cloud Service, or BICS. Rather than running on OnPremise BI solution (e.g. OBIEE / OBIA) this is BI in the cloud.
