For many of us, our first, post-COVID in-conference experience still provides warm feelings about the possibilities and opportunities that happen when people come together to share their experiences and brainstorm ideas to improve the systems and processes that foster learning at institutions of higher education.
CRM is often about communications, and the CRM track sessions that I attended each focused on the nuances and subtleties of communicating to a diverse range of constituents. I enjoyed DePaul University's multiple sessions about CRM at the Chicago based institution. Attendees benefited from the learned lessons for simplifying email delivery and the benefits of simplifying communications while gathering actionable information with 1-click surveys. Another session focused on the benefits of automation using Salesforce's Flow functionality. Our partners also played a prominent role during Alliance 2022. Deloitte hosted a session about integrated recruitment, and Huron provided a blueprint for successful data governance.
During the conference, we also learned about Oracle's renewed focus on their Student Experience Cloud. In the coming weeks, the CX AG will collaborate with Oracle to provide a CX roadmap update. Stay tuned for dates and times.
