I am very pleased to announce that at the recent HEUG Board of Directors meeting, Casey Brown from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University was elected by her fellow board members to serve as HEUG President-Elect for the 2024-2025 term.
As the IT Director of Administration Applications at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Casey leads two unique teams responsible for supporting their Workday ERP and approximately 40+ ancillary administrative applications. Overseeing these critical IT applications, she collaborates closely with IT leadership on direction, project governance, and strategic initiatives.
Casey has been involved in HEUG since 2013, currently serving as the Secretary since 2022, and previously serving six years on the Oracle EBS Advisory Group from 2013 to 2019, during which she served as Advisory Group Chair.
As an IT leader, Casey finds HEUG instrumental in connecting with other higher education leaders and bringing together a variety of vendor solutions that support strategic decisions. Her involvement in HEUG has been crucial in expanding their application footprint and maximizing the value of their core applications. She is dedicated to sharing their experiences and looks forward to learning from others.
Casey will serve as the President-Elect until the Annual Business Meeting at the 2025 Alliance Conference, where she will then assume the role of HEUG President for a two-year term.
Please join me in congratulating Casey and wishing her success as her term of leadership begins!
