At University of Wisconsin-Madison, we have been working in Oracle Student Management Cloud since August 2018. We chose to pilot some of our competitive Pre Collegiate programs and went live with our first program in February 2020. This last year, we have taken on three programs, two of which have introduced payments via CyberSource. What excites us the most about Oracle Student Management Cloud is the possibility of a Student Information System with ALL populations in one system and the appreciation that a learner is a lifelong learner regardless if they are 9 years old or 90 years old.
As one of the early adopters of the product, there were never any Google search results out there for us! We have been eager to get to the point where we can learn and share experiences with other institutions who are also using OSMC so we can start building a library of shared knowledge. With the help of HEUG, we are looking forward to connecting with other institutions and, more importantly, having a public platform for discussions, ideas, feedback and troubleshooting advice.
