FYI, In case you missed this announcement from Oracle…

Mark Armstrong has been one of the longest standing PeopleSoft/Oracle staff that have actively engaged and supported us in the ANZ region. Who can forget those heady days of the Nelson Reforms! He will be missed and I am sure you will join me in wishing him well from all of his friends and colleagues south of the equator.

Dear HEUG Community,

As some of you may have heard by now, Mark Armstrong, the head of Higher Ed development at Oracle, has announced his decision to leave Oracle. As Mark mentioned in an internal note to his team, he’s leaving to try something new – simple as that. Mark has been with the Campus Solutions product since its creation and he will be dearly missed by all of those who work closely with him.

During this transition, we want to reiterate that Oracle remains committed to Higher Education. Andy Wood will lead the Campus Solutions and Student Cloud Development teams, and Susan Beidler will continue to lead the Higher Ed product strategy team and the interactions with the HEUG community.

Together we will continue to work with the HEUG board and the larger community, and our teams will continue to focus on the multitude of projects in front of us. We look forward to seeing you at the Regional and International Alliance conferences in upcoming weeks and of course at the 2017 Alliance in Las Vegas.
