Griffith University utilises built custom records and course requirements pages to collect course Timetabled and Non-Timetabled data.The Course Requirements data collection includes the functionality for School Administration Officers with PeopleSoft access to submit within PeopleSoft. In addition to this Course Convenors (without PeopleSoft access) can submit data from within the Griffith Portal via self-service. Course Requirements can be submitted for both Timetabled and Non-Timetabled courses.With the introduction of trimesters, it became important to streamline many business processes. The process for creating the timetable fresh every trimester was very time-consuming for academic and administrative staff. Executive Group, approved to roll the complete timetable.This presentation will cover the steps that the course convenors, school administration officers, Exams and Timetabling staff and Business Systems Support staff go through in order to create classes each Trimester.Presentations and training were undertaken before during and after implementation and online resources are available to all staff.
