MacEwan University built a custom synchronization process based around delivered PeopleSoft course and class update events. The course and class data is synchronized with MacEwan University's Web Content Management System. From there, the data is utilized to display course details on public website program pages. Course and class data are also used to drive the publicly accessible Continuing Education shopping cart. Using built-in PeopleSoft course and class update events allows MacEwan to synchronize updated course data in real time.
