The Academic Item Registry (AIR) in PeopleSoft CS allows for the management of course lists and programs outside of the rules governing classic PeopleSoft curriculum management and advising. This made it possible for the School of Continuing Education at MacEwan University to define simple program structures around lists of Continuing Education courses and custom program descriptions. Additionally, attributes can be set on the AIR items to influence the display of information on the public website. The AIR items are then synchronized with the Web Content Management System, after which they are available for display on the public website.
