Catching up in November with Membership & Communications

The month of November signals a pivot point in the HEUG schedule so I wanted to take a moment and catch you up on a number of items.  The Canadian conference last week was the last of a long string of successful International/US Regional conferences that started back in April.  Now we turn our full focus to Alliance in March 2019.

Alliance registration is now open and the session schedule will be released soon.  I will be the first to remind you to download and update the Eventsential app on your mobile device so you can begin to select your sessions.

Apart from Alliance registration, November is also the time when we open a couple of important nomination processes.  First, nominations for HEUG Board of Directors is now open.  If you are interested or know someone that is interested go to the link below to find out more information and complete the nomination. There are three seats up for election.

Now is also the time we nominate our Partner of the Year for 2018 so we can honor them at Alliance.  If you would like to nominate a company go to the link below and complete the form.  These partners are critical to the success of the HEUG and we need your input to recognize them.

Very soon you will start to see changes to HEUG online.  The staff at Higher Logic have been working hard to update the web site, giving it a fresh look and simplifying navigation.  You will notice a slight “modernization” to the HEUG logo as well.

Finally, November signals the end of our membership drive for the year.  To date we have 277 paid institutional members and 46 PSUG members.  Of the mix there are 22 new organizations from around the world that joined this year.

Happy Holidays and I like forward to seeing everyone at Alliance!
