Announcing a conference that adapts to fit your schedule!

Here at Alliance HQ, we pride ourselves on using your suggestions to improve the conference every year. While there’s not a lot we can do about lackluster box lunches or pokey Wi-Fi, we are now able to satisfy some persistent requests from a small but vocal contingent. Yes, that's right: to those of you seeking a conference where you can bring your pet, or who learn best in a pants-optional setting, we have just the event for you! I’m very happy to announce the Alliance Virtual Conference 2020.

I know you’re probably thinking: ‘A virtual conference? What’s that all about?’ It’s all of the content that you’ve grown to expect and love from Alliance spread out over 5 days and delivered electronically. (Been in any Zoom meetings lately? Yea, me too. It’ll be a lot like that, but better.) Not sure if you can commit to that kind of time with everything else going on? No problem. The good news is that you don’t have to – we’ve broken the 200+ sessions up, and all the sessions will be recorded. You’ll have the opportunity to attend more than 20 sessions in real-time (which is actually more than you could at an in-person conference), but how many sessions you attend is completely up to you. The bonus of being virtual is you will be joining sessions from the comfort of your workstation. You’ll be able to attend live sessions when you are available and switch back over to work whenever you need to.

Another exclusive benefit: registered attendees of Alliance Virtual 2020 will have immediate access to all 200+ session recordings. If you’re unable to join a live session, you’ll be able to watch the recording another time at your convenience. Isn’t technology great?

Plus, you don’t have to deal with airport security. Does that sweeten the pot?

This is a difficult time for everyone. We believe that Alliance Virtual 2020 will bring much-needed innovation, collaboration, and inspiration during this unprecedented period of isolation and stress. So we hope you will be able to join us. Feel free to bring your furry colleague, Captain Scruffy or Chairman Meow. Pants are optional (but we encourage you to check first with your household HR policies). And if lunch isn’t up to snuff, well, this time that’s on you. :)

Stay Healthy and see you soon. Virtually.
