The CHEUG Executive has been busy helping the Conference Committee with their preparations for this year’s conference in Hamilton, Ontario. We’re planning to introduce a Leadership Connection half-day event, the focus of which would be the following:
Conversation among the decision makers and influencers comparing plans for PeopleSoft on-premise. A session without Oracle to compare views on how long on-premise will make sense and what sort of timelines organizations are looking at to begin planning for cloud solutions. With Oracle confirming support for 10 years there is no rush, but, given the magnitude of a project this size, it would need at least 5-7 years from initiation to completion.
We expect that the event would include a presentation from Oracle in addition to the discussion time. Let us know your thoughts and suggest items that you would like to ensure are included.
The Leadership Connection would occur immediately prior to the conference and be concurrent with the workshops.
