Educate yourself with HEUG online and the Alliance Conference

One of the biggest goals for the HEUG is Education. This is the primary purpose for our membership, but with rapidly changing users needs, as well as techology, we need to educate ourselves continuously.

Multi channel education

We actively use forums and issuetracker to keep in the loop. There are 230 forums currently on the site with 104,339 total forum subscriptions. We attend the education series (webinars) searching for tips and new information. Since January 2010 we have hosted 51 webinars which 2976 people have registered and 2170 have attended. And then of course, there's the Alliance Conference, where you can learn everything you need to know about the products you use.

Pre-conference training

To make your visit to the Alliance even more worth while, you might want to consider attending our pre-conference training classes on Thursday, Friday or saturday, provided for by Oracle University and Io Consulting. All about tools 8.5, Student Financials, CRM, 3C´s, XML Publisher, Equation Engine, PeopleSoft, ERP, BI, Sun/Solaris.

How to... at Alliance

Is this your first Alliance, or have you lost your way last year in the overwhelming offer of sessions all through the product lines? Visit the Product Advisory Groups introductory sessions and the Mix and Mingle on Sunday. Here you will have the opportunity to meet the PAG members in person, and make your own ´roadmap´ for sessions in their domain, your guide for finding the right sessions at the right time and place.

The next weeks, until the conference starts, webinars will be available such as ´Alliance 2011, Adding sessions to your agenda´  and other tips and tricks that can help you to get the most out of the conference!
